This unique event is designed to foster the formation of multidisciplinary teams and provide guidance on the process of interinstitutional collaboration.

TERA serves as a facilitator within the medical artificial intelligence ecosystem, connecting researchers, clinicians, and engineers at the Technion and Rambam. More than twenty proposals have already been submitted by Rambam clinicians and healthcare professionals, spanning a broad range of engineering fields, including computer vision, signal processing, natural language processing, biostatistics, and statistics, as well as a variety of medical specialties such as cardiology, oncology, intensive care, periodontology, neonatal ICU, obstetrics-gynecology, oncology, rehabilitation in children, ophthalmology, internal medicine, nuclear medicine, anesthesia and pain management.

We cordially invite you to participate in the event, learn about the clinical challenges and unmet needs encountered in medical practice, and develop new collaborations with medical colleagues.

Following the event, teams will be invited to submit a one-page proposal to apply for seed funding of up to聽20,000 NIS. Applicants will be notified within two weeks of submission.

In addition, during the event, participants will be able to consult with a variety of advisors who can assist with administrative, ethical, and technical questions. These will include representatives from Rambam鈥檚 Epidemiology Unit and IT Department, the TERA administrator for questions regarding workspace and systems access on Rambam campuses for graduate students, TERA board members with experience in retrospective and prospective AI studies, and a T3 representative for contractual and insurance-related matters.

This event is planned to be significant and foster new scientific and clinical research collaborations between principal investigators at the Technion and clinical researchers at Rambam.
