Outstanding Scientists Elected to EMBO Membership

Three Technion scientists - Prof. Oded Béjà (Faculty of Biology), Prof. Benjamin Podbilewicz (Faculty of Biology) and Prof. Asya Rolls (Rappaport Faculty of Medicine) were recently elected to EMBO Membership.

EMBO stands for the European Molecular Biology Organization, which is a highly respected professional society in the field of life sciences.

This year, 9 scientists from Israel were elected to this prestigious European biology organization, including four scientists from the Weizmann Institute of Science, three from the Technion, one from the Hebrew University, and a former Tel Aviv University scientist.
