Technion Human Health Initiative (THHI) Hosts Third Thematic Collaboration Event
Eight multidisciplinary teams receive seed grants to promote academic and social initiatives addressing future human health challenges
As part of the preparatory phase for the future Human Health Building at the Technion, the Technion Human Health Initiative (THHI) is actively fostering multidisciplinary collaboration across faculties and research domains. To date, eight thematic research groups were formed and provided with funding to support team-building academic and social activities within their respective fields.
On September 16, 2025, the third thematic team-building event took place at the Technion’s Black Sheep Pub. The gathering provided a vibrant platform for researchers to exchange ideas and develop joint academic initiatives. The meeting was opened by Prof. Oded Rabinovitch, Senior Vice President, and Prof. Noam Ziv, Deputy Senior Vice President for Engineering, Life Sciences & Medicine.
During the event, each theme lead presented the core focus of their group, shared current progress, and outlined action plans for future collaboration. The initiative marks a significant step toward building a strong foundation for interdisciplinary research and infrastructure development ahead of the construction of the Human Health Building.
